Be yourself

BeNiche is for real people who share the same neighbourhoods. Use your real identity. Don't impersonate anyone, create fake or duplicate accounts, or sell, share or misuse accounts.

Respect people

No harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation or hateful or abusive attacks on people for who they are. Don't use comments, posts, Stories or direct messages to target someone. If someone blocks you, don't try to reach them another way.

Keep it safe and legal

No sexual exploitation, no sharing of intimate images without consent, and absolutely no content that sexualises children. No content that promotes or threatens violence, no illegal goods or services, and no illegal activity.

No scams or spam

No fraud, scams, phishing, spam, fake engagement, bots, automation or any manipulation of BeNiche or its features.

Protect privacy

Don't share other people's private information — such as addresses, phone numbers or private photos — without their permission, and don't expose people (doxxing).

Respect others' work

Only post content you have the right to share.

Stay local, honestly

Don't use location spoofing or other tricks to get around the Şişli/Beşiktaş requirement.

Report honestly

Use reporting for real problems. Don't file false or mass reports to harass someone.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on what happened, BeNiche may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account or delete it. Report anything that breaks these rules from the post, comment, profile or conversation, or write to support@beniche.app. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services (112).
